At Cwmgelli our soil is predominantly heavy clay, this presents quite a challenge for even the most seasoned allotmenteer.

Our oldest plot holder Jimmy has had an allotment at Cwmgelli for over 70 years. His family have a long association with the allotments since the formation in 1917.
